Help with RedDimmer, from your first evening to your next display.
1. Requirements and downloads
RedDimmer requires macOS 13 or later on an Intel or Apple silicon Mac. Display support varies by hardware and macOS version. The Mac App Store release is being prepared.
2. Restore your display
Switch the filter OFF, choose Restore Colours from the menu, or quit the app to restore normal colours. If the app was force-quit, reopen it and restore the display.
3. Colour and display compatibility
Check that RedDimmer is ON, move the warmth slider and review app exceptions, which pause redness for selected apps. Avoid running several colour filters at once. If a display does not respond, restore its colours and contact support with your Mac and display details.
4. Report a problem
Contact RedDimmer support with your app version, Mac model, macOS version, display and steps to reproduce. Describe what the physical screen shows. Review diagnostics before sharing; omit serial numbers and precise location.
